Breast Augmentation
& Liposuction
PROCEDURES OF EXCELLENCE
Together, breast augmentation and liposuction account for more than 600,000 cosmetic procedures performed every year in North America alone!
When combined, these two procedures can do more than either one by itself. It is a natural pairing for women who want more volume in their upper body, with more shape and refinement in other areas.
The Silhouette You Choose
A breast augmentation with liposuction combines augmentation mammoplasty with suction-assisted lipectomy. Each of these is a distinct procedure, but they are performed under a single anesthetic with one recovery period. Breast augmentation restores volume and shape to the breasts, while liposuction sculpts the areas where fat lingers despite a healthy and active lifestyle.
You may choose this combination procedure because fuller breasts often look best next to a contoured waistline or bra line that brings proportions into balance. These procedures honour the figure as a whole and consider how each area affects the others.

Why Do We Choose Breast Augmentation & Liposuction?
The body often changes regardless of how much effort we put into it. Pregnancy stretches the tissue on the breasts, and hormone changes can redistribute fat and change the way our body burns it when we exercise. As Dr. Nodwell often says, "You didn't choose the body you were born with, but you can choose the body you live with."
Surgery is one way to address these anatomical changes. Breast augmentation restores any volume that was lost during pregnancy and breastfeeding and liposuction takes care of the fat that resists every situp and plank. At the end of a breast augmentation & liposuction procedure, you will have a shape that feels and looks balanced.

The Nodwell Experience
Sculpting the Whole Figure
When a patient comes to me wanting both an augmentation and liposuction, I visualize the surgery as a whole and consider how to bring the entire figure into proportion. The breast and waist matter to each other visually. When you get one right, the other matters more, which is why it's so important to look at the bigger picture.
My fellowship training taught me to start from the patient's anatomy and move outward. Every planning process is unique because each patient comes from a unique place, with different tissue quality, fat distribution and goals. When a surgery is done well, the result should feel like it has always belonged to you.

The Nodwell Experience

Am I a Candidate for Breast Augmentation & Liposuction?
This procedure suits those who are at a stable, healthy weight and are done having children. Smokers are asked to quit well in advance of surgery, as nicotine in any form compromises healing. Realistic expectations about the recovery, scarring and results are also important. The best way to find out if it's right for you is a meeting with Dr. Nodwell.
During the consultation, Dr. Nodwell will assess your breast tissue, skin elasticity, fat pockets, and body proportions, alongside a complete review of your medical history. Then, he will tell you his honest opinion about whether this combined approach is right for you.

At a stable, healthy weight
A non-smoker, or willing to quit before surgery
Not pregnant or breastfeeding
Have realistic expectations about scarring, recovery, and outcomes
Free of medical conditions that increase surgical risk
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I Combine Breast Augmentation With Liposuction or Stage the Surgeries?
For most patients, combining the two procedures is the most efficient choice. You will be under anesthesia once, and there is one recovery period, which is appealing for those who are good candidates for combined surgeries. Staging is sometimes used when liposuction volumes are too high or when there are other medical factors.
How Should I Prepare for a Combined Breast Augmentation and Liposuction?
If you smoke, you will need to stop completely at least six weeks ahead. Review every medication and supplement with Dr. Nodwell. Some may need to be paused. Set up a comfortable recovery space at home, arrange front-fastening clothing, pick up your prescriptions and line up someone to drive you home.
What Results Can I Expect From Breast Augmentation and Liposuction?
You will see a visible change right away, but it takes patience to see the final results. Implants settle into a softer and more natural-looking position over three to six months and scars fade over 12 to 18 months. Liposuction swelling takes time to go down, and your new contours will look more defined after six weeks.
How Much Does Breast Augmentation & Liposuction Cost?
The pricing of your procedure will vary based on the implants you choose, the amount of fat taken during liposuction, surgical time and many other factors. Combining both procedures leads to a lower cost for patients rather than performing both separately because many of the expenses, like anesthesia fees, are combined.
By itself, liposuction starts at $8,000 for a single area, with $3,000-$6,000 for each additional area. Breast augmentation by itself starts at around $16,000. Financing through Beautifi is available, and you will receive a quote during your consultation.
What Should I Expect From Breast Augmentation & Liposuction Recovery?
Many patients find that choosing a slightly longer recovery over two recovery periods is worth the trade. Knowing what to expect is the best way to prepare for the weeks ahead.
After your procedure, you can call our support team 24/7 to ask questions. We will send you home with detailed written instructions. We will also schedule follow-up appointments so Dr. Nodwell can examine you in person and make sure the recovery is going as planned.
